Uhhh.... so I read the Reuters article (and Reuters is a Leftist rag, by the way), and they literally don't debunk anything. In fact, it's as you say, the police have DENIED what the video claims, but did not clarify WHY the daughter was being forcibly ripped from the arms of her father in what looks like a hospital setting.
This is their exact quote...
Victoria Police tweeted on Aug. 20: “Victoria Police can confirm this is inaccurate. This vision was in no way related to Covid/vaccinations or testing. For the privacy of those involved, we will not be providing any further details.”
Okay, so that's the equivalent of a black mother saying her criminal son "din do nuffin" after being arrested for committing a crime.
Yes, they denied that it has anything to do with COVID, but how do we know that for sure? And how do we know that isn't a tautological twist on events using sophistry? What if it was related to sickness, and thereby not directly related to COVID? What if it was related to the dad breaching quarantine mandates, which technically isn't directly related to COVID as an illness but is by proxy of policy?
I honestly don't know what's going on, but it's disturbing to watch. And a few people in that tweet thread who aren't licking the boots of the police make some excellent points, especially that due to a lack of clarification, it's hard to accept the official police statement as truth.
And due to the fact that Leftists are trying to cover it up, it makes me more inclined to believe OP's original embellished headline than the non-answer given by police.
Given everything happening right now, and all of the other shocking videos and events we're seeing, I'm actually leaning more toward's OP than the police, unless they provide evidence showing that what's in the video isn't what people think.
The Land Under, like the fantasy realm of Queen Jacinda next to it, goes for the utopia/dystopia of Zero Covid and as you can see it's not limited to travel bans, quarantines, and super hard lockdowns enforces by soldiers.

I only linked you to show you how the story being told is about separating an infected.
Okay, but who was the infected? And why were they being separated if it looked like neither the child or dad had any health issues?
The kiddo, as I said repeatedly. Why: the isolation.
The children really are being taken away and there are mainstream articles about how terrified they are.
Okay, how then exactly do we know that she won't be forcibly jabbed?
