Germany and France have deployed special forces.
By my count NATO has AT LEAST a full brigade worth of infantry holding the airport now, so an overrun seems unlikely.

ahmygot, how do these people not grasp that they have to get off the fucking runway so the planes can land??
I've seen a lot of similar footage over the last 4 days and I can't wrap my head around it.
They also have the Afghan intelligence service paramilitary which was CIA run and didn't disintegrate.
But they're just a bit target for artillery from urban areas around. I'd also infiltrated with suicide bombers already waiting for the time. (Taliban / Al Qaeda / Islamic State / Iran / Pakistan / China / Nintendo hire me.)
