I hope Viva gets a seat, he's been an excellent informer of the public and speaker for the commoners.
Aside from him, there's a good chance PPC can win some seats: Toole's tools are dumb as a bag of hammers, but a good chunk of the Cons base fractured, and are unhappy at how Tool is just saying "we're going to do what the Liberals are doing!".
The issue is PPC won't win any seats from lib ridings. Have a seat, have four or five! ...Trudeau's still got Toronto, and therefore, the entire country.
The PPC got 1% of the vote in his riding two years ago. The incumbent Liberal, Marc Garneau, is a celebrity astronaut and cabinet minister who got 56% of the vote last time.
The riding's boundaries have been drawn and redrawn many times, but they've only elected one representative who wasn't Liberal since 1962 (a NDP member during Jack Layton's Orange wave when Liberal support collapsed under Michael Ignatieff).
Speaking of Michael Ignatieff, who I really liked as a potential leader and thought he got unfairly railroaded, it is incredible to go back in time to think that his whole campaign was about "Equality of Opportunity" as a true classical liberal, that his political campaign of ten years ago would have him labeled as a Jordan Peterson-esque Pepe Nazi in 2021.

I like Viva too, but he has no chance.
