Not really. SNL is one of those shows that only exists because people get really offended and upset if the talk of cancelling it ever happens, so they all pretend to care about it and then continue to not watch it.
It more exists as an institution to network new talent and sell them around, while also producing short clips people DO watch that they sell elsewhere.
It is a 'loss leader' for TV, basically exists just to push agendas and start 'comedians' on their career path as well as highlight woke musicians, woke celebrities and push whatever shit film they are in.
It is a marketing show, hasn't had anything to do with comedy in years.
