There’s no possible way the Russian state owned news site “sputniknews.com” could possibly be bullshit, right? R...right guise?
Most of the Russian news is really good with respect to things outside Russia. Usually much less sensationalized and it's usually just a collection of quotes without a bunch of being told what to think in between, unless it's an opinion piece which will be clearly labeled. It's really what I expect of news.
Once you get into Russia and foreign policy it gets to be a little trickier, just have to take the source into account that they will not paint Russia or the Putin administration in a negative light. That and the fact they are state owned go against them, but still it's a far cry from the MSNBCs and the Fox News clickbait garbage.
Better record of accuracy than each and every American outlet.
I mean, the quotes are real. That's all they're giving us.
Besides, I trust Russia more than I trust the other state media like the BBC or the feminist sympathizers in corporate media.
No reason to justify yourself to a terrorist.
