In Missouri and other red states, vaccine refusal on partisan grounds has become a defining marker of community affiliation. Acceptance within some circles is contingent on refusal to cooperate with the Biden administration’s public-health campaign. Getting vaccinated is a betrayal of that group norm, and those who get the shot can legitimately fear losing their job or incurring the wrath of their families and other reference groups.
Many of the people refusing safe, effective vaccination amid a deadly pandemic are enmeshed in a very distinctive type of relationship that sociologists have been studying for more than 70 years: the con job. Con artists gain social or financial advantage by convincing their marks to believe highly dubious claims—and to block out all information to the contrary.

This is what gets me. Someone posted a 100+ page pdf of just the deaths/adverse reactions that got news coverage. Regardless of what percentage of total vaccinated that is, I'm not interested.
Effective? At possibly reducing symptoms, not preventing you from getting or spreading it.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Women are oppressed.
Ahh yes a con where if no one takes the vaccine then no one makes money.
If I'm being conned would not the hospitals be who profit off me? Are they saying the hospitals are the ones conning me?
Conversely lots of people stand to make tons of money off me if I get the jab and need medical attention for ongoing side effects.
Seems like using their own logic the best thing to do is not get vaxxed. Seems odd to argue against your own position but lefties be weird.
The easiest way to hide the fact you're a moron is accuse others of being stupid.
