"Can we just forcibly inject all these anti vax assholes, this Shit is getting so old and at this point it is entirely their fault. This shit is making me want to blow my goddamn brains out. Fuck. It’s never going to end is it?"
"Best we can do is start icing [the unvaccinated] out. Bit by bit.
The big one would be banning from federally regulated planes, trains, ferries, ships, and busses.
That would have the double benefits of removing the plague rats from the ship and encouraging them to vaccinate to rejoin society."
"Can we just mandate people get the vaccine already, this is just stupid."
"Just mandate the vaccine already."
YOU MUST WEAR A MASK:
"It seems to me that both getting vaccinated AND mask wearing (especially where others' vaccination status is unknown) are both necessary at this point."
"CDC came out Friday with information that vaccinated covid delta variant cases are just as infectious as unvaccinated. The reality is everyone needs to wear masks to protect others, while vaccination is solely a measure to decrease symptoms."
NO, THE VAX LETS YOU UNMASK YOURSELF:
"I'm aware, but this doesn't change the fact we still need more people vaccinated, it doesn't matter if it can infect those with the vaccine, the sooner the majority are vaccinated, the less likely we have to play mask on, mask off bullshit."
YOU ONLY HAVE TO WEAR A MASK BECAUSE OF THOSE FILTHY UNVAXXED:
"Not gonna wear a mask in a store. I will spend my money where I'm not expected to coddle those who won't get the vaccine."
"I agree with that in principle, but I don't want to get to a point where hospital resources are spread too thin for someone who needs care for a heart attack or whatever. So I might reluctantly mask up despite my feelings towards those who are too dumb or selfish to get the vaccine."
"why not protect the idiots who don’t want to get vaccinated? It doesn’t matter whether you like them or not, having a deadly disease ripping through half the population is bad for absolutely everyone. These are still people who do jobs that keep society running, spite won’t feed you and a sense of poetic justice won’t haul the garbage away."
"I agree. Unfortunately some of those idiots are people I love and I don't really want them to die either. I'm pissed at them don't get me wrong and if I could, I would force them to vaccinate but I don't them to die."
SOME CAMPFIRE SPOOKY STORIES:
"my good friend had covid in 2020, double phizer vaxxed, and is hospitalized with delta variant as we speak. She went to a bunch of raves the weekend before and many people there got it as well. I am really hoping she gets better soon and makes it home from the hospital. PLEASE for your sake and for the sake of those around you, wear a mask, vaccinated or not!"
"I’m immunocompromised. According to a John Hopkins study published last week, I’m 85 times more likely to get COVID than a normal vaccinated person, and 483 times more likely to end up in the hospital and/or dead from it. One thing I have learned during all this, is how unwilling people are to endure even the smallest inconvenience in order to not kill someone."
"Be aware [you not wearing a mask is] infecting everyone."

ie: Vaccine doesn't work against delta variant, therefore, all covid infections will soon be delta variant, therefore, vax will soon be useless and we'll be back where we started again, cue another updated vax for the delta variant that will produce the same result aaaaand repeat a few times and we've created the human answer to Marek's disease, where the virus is 100% fatal to the unvaxxed.
It's strange but in Britain we seemed to have a different attitude towards the vaccine. I don't know anyone who thought of it as a miracle cure like so many across the world do. It was always more of a "take the edge off it/turn two weeks of misery into a few days of sniffles/stops the wrinklies getting slaughtered" thing for most of us and that was good enough.
Flu jab doesn't stop you getting flu, but good grief it takes the edge of it. Again "turning two weeks of misery into a few days of sniffles" is a good enough sell for me.

Seemingly everyone in America incorrectly thinks the vaccine prevents you from contracting the virus. Probably because it's called a vaccine.
My coworker practically had a shouting match with me when I said that.
