I suppose that depends on whether or not TPUSA is trying to brand itself as "conservative" or "libertarian". I have always heard them described as "conservative", but that mission statement sounds more "libertarian" in nature since it seems focused exclusively on economic policies.
If they try to say they are "conservative" but also have that as their mission statement than somewhere along the way either someone is confused or they are engaging in deception. Because like it or not in American politics there has always been some element of traditionalist Christian morality attached to the movement.
I'm of course ignoring the fact that they discriminate on the basis of what "freedoms" people are concerned with. They aren't huge fans of freedom of association for example, as they generally don't let people in who take issue with the Civil Right Act and its rather broad application even to intra-state commerce.
Conservative laws don't function without conservative values. You can't divorce individual liberty from Christian values. The mess that the west is in derives specifically from the attempt to separate the two.

If you listen to the NRx people they would say this is a feature of "Conservatism" and not a bug. It becomes increasingly hard to say they are wrong.
