In a way, I agree. Let me explain what I mean before anyone jumps down my throat - as long as people do not shove their thoughts or fetishes/beliefs/desires down people's throats, they are entitled to be an individual and do as they please (assuming everyone involved is a consenting adult and no one is being hurt) with their life. The issues begin when people of ANY group feel the need to push an agenda on others.
That being said, such freedom goes both way...I'm free to mock anyone I deem worthy of my mockery. I'm just not going to be a total ass about it and mock you publicly unless you force my hand. Someone's got to have a bit of civility.
They're already pushing an agenda by running for public office and then shaming anyone who expresses "hate" towards them.
If trans people were this oddball lifestyle that lives on the fringes but were otherwise irrelevant, nobody would care. Most people didn't have a problem with drag queens. But they make it a public issue and demand that society cater to them and give them special rights. Yes everyone should be treated equally by the law. Yes, a man has the right to call himself a woman. No, he doesn't have the right to force me, the government, his company, or anyone else to play along.
It sounds like you agree with this, so I don't know see you agree with this woman. She denies you the right to mock her protected class, and covers her criticism up in leftist newspeak so we have no idea what she's even talking about. Was anyone uncivil? I assume she's just unintelligent and trying to use big people words, but it's still insidious behavior.
