LP has been fringe for a long time. I think that the libertarian movement's most recent high water mark, so to speak, was Ron Paul's run for president. But the current LP is as obscure as it usually is.
Like I said, it doesnt really matter. More important then libertarian candidates is libertarian ideas spreading among the masses. Can't have people voting against their own interests if they know better.

Not every one any more. Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Michigan are the best at the moment, and I hear Colorado is planning some deep based levels.
