What do you mean by that? There certainly are people who call themselves incels and they form groups online, like r/incel back in the day. This argument kind of feels like the "antifa is just an idea" one
Elliott Rodger, the famous "incel" murderer, killed more men than women.
Yet his shooting wasn't used as a way to push against women's demonization of those who aren't popular or socially active. No, it was used to push a wholly fictional narrative that women were in danger unless everyone who is negative about them is censored and jailed.
I'd say it might be more accurate to say that the threat of incels doesn't exist rather than saying they don't exist as a group.
Incels were to the mid-2010s what "white supremacy" is now.
Also, I'm not that surprised that when an incel goes on an actual rampage that he kills mostly men. Usually when people snap they go after people who are close to them, and I don't think incels typically have many women in their lives. Weren't most of Elliot Rodgers' victims his roommates?
Fair point. But what they supposedly are is very different from what they actually are.
Yes, they were his roommates. Everyone he killed was just someone that happened to be nearby, there was no targeting.
Doesn't matter to the media, who gleefully threw away the lives of the male victims to push their master's narrative.
