So today I was browsing Prime, and noticed that "The Ice Road" had a quite low score. Checked the reviews just in case, and there were LOTS of 1-star reviews by angry people about its wokeness and anti-white racism.
I am sincerely glad that anti-woke sentiment is so prevalent on Amazon, I haven't watched it and I'm considering adding my voice to the (negative) chorus, but I was surprised of being caught out of the loop and not having heard of such a terrible movie.
You guys knew?
Yep I remember I downvoted a lot of Netflix stuff and seemed to upvote stuff critics hated. Back when I had Netflix
80% critic score, 20% user score: Woke garbage.
20% critic score, 80% user score: normal show written by normal people.
Never fails.
Avoid The Tomorrow War. It's just a huge steaming pile, from the impossible plot, the shitty 'skyence', the terrible CGI, the terrible monsters, the fucking god awful fucking characters/dialogue out of a god damn Paul Feig movie, it's also woke.
Just watched it. Fucking awful in every way. Bad acting, cartoonish villains complete with inept henchmen, oh and the woke garbage.
The best part was cracking jokes about the plot the SJW moments.
The villain is an over-the-top racist white guy, so yeah, I can see that.
At least Amazon has a lot of classic content as well as a channel for older British stuff
