That is an argument of the "crime is falling and therefore don't matter"-tier. Falling marriage rates in no way negate the fact that nearly everyone gets married. Also that married men are healthier, live longer and earn more.

Partly, but I meant more along the lines that a single man will eat and do whatever he wants, so there's a chance he makes bad choices and has poor health because of it. Most of the "benefits" of marriage are simply the effect of having someone monitor what you do. You could have the same effects living at home with your parents if you wanted.

Single men take more risks and usually don't care about their health as much. As for earnings, they have less expenses.
