Partly, but I meant more along the lines that a single man will eat and do whatever he wants, so there's a chance he makes bad choices and has poor health because of it. Most of the "benefits" of marriage are simply the effect of having someone monitor what you do. You could have the same effects living at home with your parents if you wanted.
