They made movies to make their classic villains out to be misunderstood victims.
It's not "almost like" it's exactly what they're doing.
That's true, and it's fucking asinine. Hopefully enough people start getting tired of it that Disney starts losing money on it. I want Disney to lose money on everything at this point, but they've got a lot of sources of income that need to die before they really start hurting.
Has PETA declared a fatwa against whatever weirdo made Cruella? And if not, why not?
