It’s amazing how underwhelming almost everyone’s offerings have been so far.
Mainstream gaming is dead. You do not have to be the consumers of AAA publishers.
Indie gaming isn’t really doing that hot either my dude. There are so many games with gorgeous graphics wasted on games with the shallowest gameplay (how many overly simple 2D platformers about “muh depression” and “muh anxiety” need to exist?!).
yeah i'm fed up with the indies lately as well. I've seen enough Pixel art and water color looking shit. All the AAA games are trash, and the ones that actually look like they could be great end up being co-op live service shit or aren't releasing until 2023
Yeah.... I am having a lot of trouble enjoying much of any games being put out these days. Indie games lasted me for a while but even they are starting to get down the same road..
Honestly I half feel like I am just spinning my wheels playing the same stupid moba or something cause I legit can't find anything else good these days. Oh things are out there but it also doesn't help it has become hell to sort through to the good stuff on steam.
I’m hoping the high cost of graphics cards changes the gaming industry. Once we can cut off the lazy way of “pretty is best” development, they can return to making actual games and not nonsense for videophiles to brag about frame rates on.
I'm enjoying factory builders lately. Been having a grand ol time with Dyson Sphere Program.
Watching E3 is what drove me to piracy and PC gaming
Yeah I don't know how to do piracy [so wishing I did xD!] but def this sort of stuff is what brought me to PC games.
