Time to start making each our own national industries, like I've been trying to say Canada should have done for decades now. Branch Plant Economies are never a good idea. China likes economic nazism so much, let's show 'em what it is.
This is almost exactly what I was looking forward to seeing, though I think the real test would be a full scale conflict to see where the allegiances of these corporations lie. The CCP is making International companies choose between the West or China, now we need to see whether the US will chicken out at the behest of their corporate overlords, or whether these multi-national corporations will pledge full allegiance publicly to China.
Multi-national corporations are almost done siphoning anything of value from US consumers and now see China as the consumer market to focus on.

That would be comical to see. China likes their money, but if these corpos start pushing policy that compromises the security of the Chinese State (mass immigration for cheap labour), you watch them get put in line. Only when a Chinese boot is on their throats may they realise that perhaps they shouldn't have helped bring the West down in flames for a "quick buck."
China Joe has already showed his hand. Much like the 'Paris Climate Accords', he is actually putting a limit on western powers and handing all the keys to China. We will face limits, China won't as a 'developing nation'. Hell, he's already tipped his fucking hand with the removal of the Trump EO on Tiktok and WeChat.
Let me get this straight:
If the U.S. sanctions China...
... China will make it impossible for U.S. companies to do business in China?
Those terms seem acceptable. How soon can we sanction China?
How soon can every GS-13 and up, the State Department, and the Senior Executive Service be removed?
