In a later statement from the same exec she denies this.
I made an error in language in my last note, so I just want to clarify, ALL are welcome to apply and we will consider ALL qualified candidates. That being said, in our efforts to elevate diverse voices in the predominately white podcast space, we strongly encourage engineers/editors of color––regardless of gender and sexual orientation–– to apply.
Which of course means the White applications will go into the circular file.
Jesus fucking christ, I don't complain that there are spaces that are predominantly black. I don't go to the mercado and complain that mexican grocery stores are predominantly mexican.
That what kills me and frankly it's not a mistake. They know they could apply 'no whites need apply' and never be called on it but then they miss the satisfaction of flaunting it before our eyes.
The Fake Doctors Real Friends podcast is often spoiled by one of the producers who feels like a diversity hire. When the Capitol Hill incident happened she posted a 2-3 minute "episode" where she was literally crying and saying that there wasn't going to be an episode that day yet openly supports BLM.
I'm not sure who picks the adverts that get inserted into the podcast but I wouldn't be surprised if it was her because they're mostly race related.
She also seems to always have her mic open and often butts in seemingly thinking she's a co-host but she has an incredibly grating voice and will quite often try to turn things into a race issue even when it's clearly not.

'Legal told her or her boss what she said was going to get them sued.'
Also the shredder thing.
Can we not have anything?

And of course the exec is a women.
