Yeah, in America almost every black guy buys football or basketball games every single year. Often its the only game they buy. Its a very loyal and consistent market. That's what I said earlier, the black market buys singular franchises without much deviation.
Which is enough to make EA mega rich but it has little effect otherwise on the industry because nothing is going to change that fact.
What I'm saying is that you absolutely can make the same game over and over again if you have a loyal enough fanbase.
There's no need to "innovate" like this. I miss when they just churned out the same game every year, at least there was no woke bullshit. Can we go back?
True, but I think these are very specific circumstances that aren't easily replicated in other markets or genres. You can usually only get a few before massive changeups are needed. Ubisoft learned that with Ass's Creed where the current crop is barely recognizable to a few years ago, despite having a mass loyal fanbase on its own.
But I do agree, I'd rather play the same derivative stuff than them "innovate" this way. Shit I've bought nearly every DBZ game for 20 years on now. At least I have nearly infinite games to play from history rather than forced to participate in their new garbage.
