I’ve said this before, assuming one person can change a corrupt government is as stupid as believing the wuhan virus came out of nature. Trump failed because he believed that like a business you could weed out shitty elements and that the workforce had the country’s best interests in mind.
The problem for Trump was that there weren't enough of "his people" in government. He had to work with obstructionist Neocons because the actual Conservatives and Libertarians weren't there and have been sitting on their arses for too long.

He was undermined literally every step of the way, most egregiously by his own "side" and party.
I have my share of criticisms of him, but its amazing how much he got done fighting that many people every single time.
