As you know, the red cross has become increasingly aggressive when it comes to restricting uses of a red plus on medical supplies, with videogames coming under target of this serial litigation.
Do you think it is time to suspend their treaties in order to combat this abusive behavior?
Unsure what treaties you mean.
I am tired of them being a bitch about red pluses, but the problem lies more with our legislative systems being ripe for abuse than with the pathetic entities that choose to abuse them.
To be fair, the Red Cross have a pretty serious reason to want to keep that symbol as exclusive as possible, as it's linked to protections under the Geneva convention.
Signatory countries generally don't fight other signatories, and non-signatory countries don't respect it anyways.
Just call it a red plus that’s red for health and a plus for increase.
As much as Fauci is a target for being an opportunistic fuck, the reality is that his profession is full of opportunistic fucks and if it were not for him, it would just be someone else.
The medical profession is long overdue for a reckoning.
The makers of prison architect and stardew valley learned the hard way
I mean if it’s a trademark of the Red Cross they have the right to protect their logo. I doubt Apple or Tesla would be happy if their logos suddenly appeared in games and other media without their approval. Don’t most games just a green or generic cross for health anyway? To me it’s not too big of a gripe.
Apple and Tesla aren't non-profit charitable organizations.
There is no company as vicious or greedy as a "non-profit".
A corporation can hoard its wins like a dragon, sitting atop a pile of gold, built up over time, and have the CEO plunder it at a relaxed end-of-work parachute. But a non-profit needs their millionaire owners to be paid out each year in full.
If I sell snacks at a local bake sale and put an apple-like logo on the apple strudels for a cute pun, then post a pic of it on instagram, Apple would probably feature it on their social media. If I were to put a pink ribbon on boob-shaped donuts, Komen For The Cure would sue my bake sale ass for daring to use the color pink, they own the color pink.
Better off just making the medkits a bright orange with a white plus. It actually makes more sense logically also since orange doesn't occur very often in nature and the world making it more eye catching.
