I think something they sort of touch on and one of my biggest irritants from it all is the total failure to ever learn and adapt. The only acceptable response to a lockdown, mask, or really anything not working was to do it even more.

That doesn't apply just to the government, which I don't think I've trusted since before I was a teenager, but to friends, family, and acquaintances. I know someone who got really sick (older person) and they have pretty much decided they will always wear a mask now forever. The thing is they wore one before, and it didn't work. This is the logic that drives me totally bonkers and it's much too prevalent.
