PoundMeToo was reactionary in a sense. The progressive idea that consent is all that is required for sex was found to be flawed due to the fundamental nature of the relationship between the sexes. Women use sex to secure their socioeconomic position, and men use their socioeconomic position to secure sex. Inevitable power imbalances will lead to abuse from both sides. Tradition does have inherited solutions to this problem through enforced monogamy, prohibitions on sexual acts, and caste systems.
