Most rational people who watch legacy media new don’t understand why the news is portrayed to them as it is. There are two major factors to observe, 1 is that 80% of US purchasing power is controlled by woman, 2 is that woman crave drama. If you ask any woman what they find most attractive in a man they will lie to your face, but what is consistent is that woman are attracted to men with high risk occupations. This attraction is not entirely due to their occupation but the fact that the woman could be caught up in the danger while being a spectator. Multiple studies have shown that women believe that being crazy over someone is love. Let me repeat that, women believe that in order to be in love with someone there must be a constant sense of drama and/or danger. This reflects directly in the news cycle. There’s a constant repetition of the worst/ most dramatically portrayed events. This drama feeds into their ego, and is repeated as naseum on social media.

Is this something women have always thought or is this a newer idea introduced by our post-Sex Revolution post-Feminist culture? I'm only in my 20s so I have no idea what things were like in the dating and marriage world before like, the mid-10s
The world used to be more dangerous in general and women used to be more attracted to men, so it always being like that is plausible.
