They are getting close to a cult for sure. I saw something a few days ago, I can't remember if it was Reddit or where (leftist place either way). Essentially a bunch of pro-vaxxers discussing how to get more people to take the serum. It was the typical stuff, bombard them with propaganda, block them from things, quit being friends with them, etc.
One of them had I guess 1% of a brain and suggested that the things they are doing aren't working and that the people left were low risk anyway, so how about letting up on the "still wear your mask and social distance even with the vaccine" and essentially was trying to say offer incentive instead of punishment. The response to that you'd have thought they were preaching Christianity at an atheist convention.
That's one of the weird things about how the Left thinks that I don't see the right every doing.
Conspiring on how to make people do the thing they want while actively not really knowing anything about the thing, and maybe even being still opposed to it.
Even the white nationalists want to convince people of their position, not subvert them into it.

My favorite is how they constantly lobby for policies for things they want, but if anyone disagrees then it's the dissidents who are politicizing.
"I'd rather they keep politics out of my favorite TV shows."
"EVERYTHING is political..."
"Yeah I hate how they're pushing to let men compete in women's sports."
"Except that!"
"I disagree."
"HOW CAN YOU DISAGREE STOP MAKING THINGS POLITICAL ITS A HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE ARE YOU A TRANSPHOBE"
