Agreed, this is why I don't tell people to duck their heads like even Michael Malice does.
This shit is so dangerous, and so destructive that it is better to be driven out rather than be kept inside when the purges come.
In any country where a Communist take over has taken place, the largest amount of unrestrained violence against people who can't defend themselves takes place within the country after the Communists succeed.
The anti-Left monarchist faction of Cambodia was violently driven from the country. They lost everything, and fled onto boats, desperately hoping that that nearby ships would help ferry them to any nearby country. They lost the war, their country, their capital, the monarchy, their traditions, and literally had to flee to the open ocean and become "boat people" to survive with what little they had left.
The Khmer Rouge depopulated Phnom Phen immediately. They balkanized the country with both socialist and racialist laws. They forced doctors to live among peasants, do farm work, and were forced to eat gruel. They were ritualistically humiliated for restorative justice. Glasses were stolen from people because they were "bourgeois". The Khmer Rouge tried making infrastructure projects, but ordered everything by social power. In one massive project, former surgeons became cement mixers, cement mixers were assigned as engineers, engineers were ditch diggers, and a disabled ethnic minority 12 year old girl was placed as head of the project. Literally thousands died from sheer incompetence alone, including the planners forgetting to deliver water to their workers, let alone the vast sum of accidents that resulted from everything being done wrong. The Soviets were called in to sort out the mess and they were appalled by how badly everything had gone. Embarrassments like this couldn't be tolerated so the Khmer Rouge started mass executing people they considered spies for the CIA and the KGB. They purged incessantly and started killing hundreds and thousands by the day. This is where the Cambodian killing fields come into play. The families of alleged spies were also executed. The infants of alleged spies were beaten to death against a tree and tossed into mass graves. Eventually, one survivor fled to fully Communist Vietnam and let the communists there know that the government had gone wildly out of control. There were no rebels in the country, but they wouldn't stop killing everyone. They had long since killed anyone neutral, and were slaughtering long-time party loyalists. In an attempt to effectively rescue the country from Communists, the Communists invaded to try and stop the Communist genocide of Communists in a Communist country. They succeeded, but not before the Communist Khmer Rouge had killed off a quarter of their own population. They were only in power for 4 years.
There are no 'right wingers' in the killing fields of Cambodia. Only party loyalists. The monarchists who fled to the ocean survived as a right-wing Cambodian diaspora across the globe. The people who ducked their heads and stayed quiet did not.
If you have a choice of standing, fighting, and losing; it is better to take the loss than to watch the Left consume absolutely every aspect of your life and destroy you and everyone you love.
It is better to be pushed out of the Leftist sphere of influence then it is to live within it.
People go on and on about Nazis and their wholesale industrial genocide but never bring up the Khmer Rouge. They didn't bother with cattle cars and camps; they just beat you to death with sticks or smashed your skull in with rocks. In my opinion the Khmer Rouge is, by far, the most evil organization in modern history. The fact that Pol Pot was never executed and allowed to live out his life to his own "natural death" in 1998 is one of the greatest crimes of the century.
The industrial mechanization of the holocaust is a fascinating aspect of it that makes it very different from most genocides that involve partisan mass killing. Normally it involves an army just comming in and wiping out a people. For the Naitonal Socialists, it was an intrinsic part of their ideology, and a major aspect from socialism. They actually felt that it was so imperative to exterminate the Jews, that they realized simple brutality wasn't enough and a an industrial system had to be arranged.
With Rawanda, it was more like a traditional genocide, but the essence of mass media through the use of radios made the slaughter unique in that EVERYONE was involved in the genocide. Neighbors were out killing each other. The entire mass society was mobilized to slaughter everyone. It was a very different environment from the National Socialists who had to hide a lot of the murder from their own people who were agitated by anti-Jewish violence years earlier. Where the Nazis had to use propaganda to rationalize and then hide; the Rawandans used propaganda to incite.
However, the Khmer Rouge did something very different when it comes to genocides. They didn't do it to some conquered or subjugated people. They didn't do it with an occupying army. They just did it with the government and they did it to absolutely fucking everyone. No one was spared. Some groups were targeted more than others, but no one was safe. Genocides normally happen when a government targets someone they don't consider to be their own people. This government really did target their own people. They targeted their own party, their own government. Many surviving higher-up members of the Khmer Rouge still claim that they had nearly achieved Socialist perfection, and I tend to agree. They had truly almost become the perfect Socialist society by re-orienting everything along power dynamic lines and slaughtering everyone who showed even a hint of dissent. They didn't just kill people and depopulate cities, they devolved Cambodia into a lesser state of development than when they started in merely 4 years.
The Khmer Rouge are clearly one of the most evil organizations to have ever existed and each and everyone at the top should have been executed.
It is also not a surprise to me that Leftism was involved in one way or another with all 3 of my examples.

And who knows, you might even win if you fight.

“Nazism” “Leftism” Pick One.
I don't abide by Leftist historical revisionism.
National Socialism is Leftist. It is descendant from Fascism & State Socialism.
the fact that openly being communist doesn't automatically get you treated worse than a child molester is an indictment of our society.
Correct.
