I was watching pirate uploads on YouTube of the Amazon original animated series of Robert Kirkman's Invincible, and found what appears to be regressive leftist propaganda starting with episode 3 that I think may not have been in the original comic series.
The episode mentioned 4th wave feminism, had a character get called sexist over something benign, and had a mad scientist go on a rant about the founding fathers being "racist slave owners" while also spewing other regressive leftist propaganda.
Can someone who had read the original comic series please tell me if this garbage was in the original comic series?
If you still want to watch this shitty series, you should watch the pirate uploads on YouTube though I should note that the 3rd episode is the one with the most garbage.
It's also confirmed Robert Kirkman had gone regressive and is even directly responsible for this change, so I bet he would resist demands to fix it even if he risked severe legal penalties for catering to extremists.
Edit: the linked videos are gone, so I should consider digging up the videos again for a cringe compilation to use as a reference.
The Walking Dead comics series started to go in a kinda woke direction at the end of its run. It wasn't totally obnoxious, but I wouldn't be shocked if another comic series by Robert Kirkman went farther.
Princess loudly exclaiming that it's good that proportionally larger amounts of whites died during the zombie apocalypse was pretty shitty- but Princess was a pretty shitty character overall.
Tbf, Princess could have also been commenting on the racial tolerance of the people in Rick's group. Either way, Princess was an annoying character.
The most disappointing series ever for me was House of Cards (the American version).
Up until the last season I really enjoyed it on the level, and many things that happened were completely believable...but the final season looked like it was based on a fan fic written by a woke group of feminist college students, and it was entirely unbelievable to me. I won't spoil it for you, but the very final scene was one of the dumbest endings I have ever seen in any series.
Really? House of Cards is kind of my hate-punching-bag for me, precisely because it's the kind of politics that is unbelievable. In real life if somebody tried to do what Frank did, his career would get shanked by one of the other three letter agencies that reside in Washington within a couple of episodes. Also it emphasizes Putin way too much and China way too little, so you know whoever wrote this had swallowed too much mainstream Media.
That series ends with the knock knock on the desk. It’s pretty good if you just stop at the end of season 2
So I wasn't the only one. What was up with that Build-your-own-Hippie-Commune BS? In real life, wouldn't all those different communities naturally unite under Rick anyway? This is a warlord apocalypse, he is the natural king, whether he wants to be or not.
