That's generally true (evidenced by the fact that it was pushing BLM here).
But I'd rather have leftist power that is arranged against corporate (SJW) power, and therefore limits it, than one that aids it and therefore magnifies it.
I have no illusion about unions. Any organization where some wield power over others, which is to say all organizations, will eventually get corrupted by self-serving elites. It's the Iron Law of Oligarchy.
I think unions can be quite good, not a necessary evil, but often they end up not being that. I do support unionization of 'journalism', as that may give journalism just the push off the cliff that it needs, as well as of Amazon and other Megacorps, as they have far too much power as it is.
And as I always tell TheImpossible1, someone need not be your friend in order for you to use them to balance others. Nixon used China to balance the Soviet Union quite productively. You can't win a war against all simultaneously, you have to pick and choose what the greater evils are, and fighting against who can be deferred.
Not gonna lie, I'm fairly anti-union myself. But it's one of those things where the worst a union can do is compared to the worst the company can do, and see which is the lesser of two evils.
With Amazon, I'm pretty sure Old Scratch himself is taking notes so I'd accept a Union there. But maybe not for, say, Gamestop.
Unions can be a very good counterweight against megacorp power.
Used to be. These days they are just another leftist institution that works against its own members to push a political agenda.

All modern unions do is just take money from workers and funnel it into democrat PACs and campaign funds.
Fuck unions.
Sure I hate Amazon, but I hate unions even more.
