China accidentally leaked SARS-1 from their virology labs several times.

But we are supposed to believe it is impossible they accidentally leaked SARS-2 from one of their virology labs which work Coronaviruses and gain of function... With horseshoe bats as lab animals...

Horseshoe bats were not commonly sold at the Wuhan seafood market, are not commonly eaten by locals, and the species dosen't live within hundreds of kilometers of Wuhan.

The first cases have no link to the seafood market. Wuhan virology lab very close to the market studies Coronaviruses, and has horseshoe bats as lab animals.

"DEEBOONKED THEORY!"

You don't even need to "genetically engeneer" the virus for it to gain bits from other strains. Just infect the same host with multiple strains, and they recombine when they happen to co-infect the same cells to replicate.
