I know it's a cliché with speedrunners at this point, but I just stumbled upon a nest of them, and I feel the need to share.

All of this information is relatively easily accessible on the forums.
But seeing as almost all of the active "Female" players are...
It makes me suspicious that there's some "recruiting" going on behind the scenes.
there's only one NAWALT that would make TheImpossible1's list - I watch Hololive and there's a girl named Shishiro Botan who's a high level FPS player. Apparently she was a pro and a former coach as well in the esports scene.
But for every NAWALT like her comes the billions of Overwatch healer mains who thrive on the "I'M A GIRL GUYZ XDDD" narrative.
Its funny... overwatch league is also pretty much all male. So the best healers ultimately are males players. I think they tried to stick a chinese girl onto a korean team. Dont think it worked out.
There are good female FPS players, but for every 1 good female FPS player, there is probably 100 good male players that are of equal skill. And usually, the best shooters are male.
Gender differences become more pronounced at the extreme ends of the bell curve. On average, men might be only 10% better than women at first person shooters. But when you take the top 1% of players, nearly all of them will be men.
