It's a very cheap virtue signal that avoids some potentially nasty repercussions.
I've met plenty. That probably more a reflection of who we are as individuals, than any useful anecdotal evidence. Statistical evidence would disagree with your personal experience, anyway.
I meant their resistance to them engaging in inter-racial coupling.
I think it shows the opposite. Again: outcomes of relationships is not the same as relationship preference. It's not a surprise to me that whites get into relationships with other whites, and the vast and sweeping majority of the time, it has nothing to do with both of them choosing to date white people for a racial reason.
It's likely something that goes entirely without saying. Just because Giz hasn't heard someone express that wish doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, and just because it isn't verbalized or even realized doesn't mean that those men aren't solely interested in women who are memetically compatible - which in almost every case means a degree of genetic proximity.
It could also mean that those men simply aren't sorting potential female mates by race, and are considering a litany of other discriminating factors that are more important to them. Those other factors then generate the results that we see.
Like I said, if you're trying to date a black woman at an anime convention, you're going to have very limited success. If you want to date any woman who is interested in anime, she's likely going to be white.
