I've been ( ( ( NOTICING ) ) ) a lot of commercials and ads doing this fucking mixed race shit. Way more blacks and Hispanics in ads as well.
And just like this ad has shown, it's mostly the woman who's an ethnic minority and the man being some soycuck white millennial male.
It's been irritating the fuck out of me because it's so fucking blatant. Commercials for brands that are mostly popular among whites have these commercials too - it's not shit like Starbucks where you expect dumb progressive shit like that but extremely corporate brands that have nothing to do with socjus shit.
And you know what? I'm Korean. I shouldn't care, but it's fucking jarring going from commercials being mostly whites (which is what the US population is) to an over disproportionate number of them being mixed race/ethnic minorities.
It's even more jarring seeing 100% Asian families as well - they NEVER mix Asians, they're always full Asian families yet blacks and whites are mixed race - I bet these companies aren't even aware of how fucking hypocritical it is.
I actually did see an asian male black female couple once, I remember because I though "oh how rare". I think they were a real couple too, I don't remember what the ad was about. But I do see white dad asian daughter pretty often for some reason. No other family members, just the dad and daughter.
Only time i saw it was that jackie chan movie rumble in the bronx where jackie's uncle marries a sassy, fat black lady lol.

A lot of the corporate stuff is heavy into every possible combination of non-white, non-straight, non-masculine they can find; but this particular ad isn't really out of the ordinary. This is something you could have seen 30 years ago too.
This particular ad isn't showing the man in an effeminate form, and isn't showing him in a submissive form, and is even keeping the woman in the background, not directly in front of the viewer. This makes sense for ads involving sexuality, so I don't really see why you would think this is particularly egregious.
