I don't know. Maybe effective, but should it be across the board? Maybe federal elections, but putting states and cities that are Republican controlled into the hands of Democrats as part of a boycott seems like it could go brutally wrong.
Other than being slightly slower to implement progressive policy, how are the republicucks different from the dims? Is the appearance of opposition desirable compared to salient power?
