The bill in question

Two particularly disturbing parts

(2) PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION: Psychologist must be approved by the AG.

(3) DATABASE: All gun owners will be listed in a publicly accessible database.

creatively redefined to include anything other than matchlock muskets

You're not far off. Examples of what would be:

Semi auto rifle with a detachable magazine, folding stock and a pistol grip. Hell you could modify a Ruger 10/22 to have that stuff.
Semi auto pistol that has a threaded barrel and is heavy or looks scary
Semi auto shotgun with two of about any accessory for the most part

Not the full list just some examples I made up, but it's it's pretty broadly defined.
