I don’t even put down anything in my email signature. They are lucky if I sign off with my name. Like my name and email are in the sender info. They don’t need any more info to contact me than that.
Same here. I have no signature. Occasionally some supervisor will mention it and I just pretend that "Outlook must've screwed that up, boss, but I'll look into it today." Of course, I never do.
I have always been under the impression that signatures were for written letters, and e-mail didn't need it, since the sender's name is right there on the header, and it isn't the same as typing on company letterhead.
Didn't even know you could have an auto signature. I remember using taglines in the Blue Wave Mail Door days, but that was it. Heh.
But I don't use outlook or anything, I just use some anonymous web-based mail service.
