When that Polish MP was testing Coca Cola in front of Parliament and showing it came back positive. I remember people screaming in the comments that coke has acid and was destroying the test. That it wasn't actually positive and he was doing the procedure wrong.
What I gathered from all their articles and screaming was that any acidic substance gives a false positive. So a person could eat something spicy, drink orange juice or a pop and run the risk of a false positive if the tech didn't dilute the test sample with enough buffer.
You know what, that's a really good idea. Just go into the legislature and test everyone in there. Anyone with a positive result gets placed under house arrest for their own protection.
Trouble is, the governors are just doing whatever they want and calling it law.
Great! All we need is a governor.
It looks like they have more fruit on the table in the backround, oranges and maybe a watermelon, some other stuff they're probably going to test too.
Firstly I wonder why they're testing fruit to begin with (seems an odd idea) and now that the kiwi has tested positive are they going to be banned? Or maybe kiwis will now be made to wear little masks?
Wish I had information about what is going on here.
Proving through absurdity that this is all insane? Maybe?
Let's be real, there's a lot of people now who scream trust science but probably failed intro chem and definitely failed stats.
Any good stats class will teach you that you can't just trust the numbers.
