First, I'd like to point out that some of those videos are likely just people engaged in a humiliation fetish, rather than just simping per se. Those videos are of people who are basically getting their rocks off by what they're doing, and they know that they are humiliating themselves. So, it's not exactly the same, it's a bit more degenerate than you might see a simp do.
Second, I don't think it's a lack of self-expression that's the problem. While self-expression is stifled for men so that it no masculine self-expression is tolerated, I'd say that society is filled with overwhelming self-expression to the point that it's become an indistinguishable blur of random colors and shapes. Each person frantically trying to self-express more loudly and garishly than the person behind them, but no one is actually listening in order to care. A kind of deaf narcissism.
The problem that I see is that while the narrator recommends self-expression in a close knit community, I'd don't think most people have such a community. This goes back to the whole "Bowling Alone" concept, particularly about how predominantly white, straight, male social groupings have been otherwise eradicated, and every other group has been effectively balkanized by political activists.
There are no social groupings for most people to engage and commune with. This is typically where you would be developing long lasting friendships and intimate relationships, but these groups have been all but dissolved.
I'll put it like this, I know several people who are adults, are not nerds, have never been into any sort of gaming, and are in D&D groups because that is the closest thing to a social grouping that Gen X and afterwards effectively has at this point. They learned D&D, which is not a small feat for a normie, because there was nowhere else to go, and no one to associate with. Gaming with other people, even switching between gaming groups, is the closest mimic to a non-toxic social group that people under 40 effectively have if they aren't part of a devout religious community.
I think I've mentioned this before, but this is the real problem we face as a generation of people. The old, normal, social groups are all dead. And the only thing the normies have as outlet is the fucking bar where you drink yourself to death.
That's really bad.
We have to build whole new communities entirely from scratch, in the real world. We must be our own pillars, of our own communities, because there is nothing & no one to join. We have to dig our selves out of this hole in society, not so that we can benefit (we will likely get very little), but so that our grand-children will have something to look forward to.
See a problem. Because building a community is a hell of a lot more effort, time, and energy, for a very tenuous and abstract reward. Compared to the instant dopamine dump running a map in Path of Exile and picking up the currency that drops.
And I have, I think anyway, an acute awareness of the problem and understand this is the correct solution.
I see "neighborhood watch" signs on my block and have no fucking clue who to talk to about joining and what the hell they even do or even if they exist at all and aren't just signs.
Or want to find a church but either they are hardcore evangelical and I'm not really committed to the whole jesus thing, or they are subverted with women giving sermons.
Its a bootstrap problem where if you never really had connections and your family wasn't integrated into a neighborhood growing up, you don't know where to start and even if you make the effort you need to harden up to a lot of false starts and wasted effort.
I agree with a lot of that. Maybe not the women giving sermons stuff, but the fundamental point: we don't have a reference point to start with. That's why I'm kinda hoping we can use this place as a reference point.

All that means to me is that there is a level of inherent weakness within your religious philosophy and traditions. Women want a patriarch of some nature, the fact that their sermons in your church do not reflect this is an internal problem that is deeper than some gatekeeping procedure.
Think of it like this: why would a woman want to lead a sermon if they had been acculturated to your religion's ideology.
A secular comparison of this might be the NFL. Why have no women ever played on a professional football team? There is no gatekeeping to stop them from trying. That first time get fucking spear'd is way more convincing. There is no desire for them to try or continue. It's a wasted effort. It's a bad idea with few positive benefits, particularly compared with doing anything else as a woman. If, on the other hand, women were all over the place in the NFL, playing quarterback and the like, that would suggest that there was something very strange happening to the culture of the NFL, who it's attracting, and who it's disincentivizing.
I'd say your focus would be to answer those questions for your religion first. Otherwise, even if you were to successfully gatekeep, it would only be a bandage over a sucking chest-wound.

The point is that you build defenses so that when they kick the door their foot shatters. The point is to fight because they're going to attack. You fight a war to win one. Build a stronger door. Don't just whine and cry because the first one got knocked down
Let's pretend I'd agree to that. How are you going to go on the offensive for something that is already effectively untouchable to normies, when you gave up building a door.
If you want to attack, you have to have the logistics to do so first. Get the order right.

You can't win any engagement with no support system, no defense system, and only aggression. Whatever offensive action you take, it will peter out without logisitcs, you will not be able to launch a second strike without a base of operations, and you will be easily encircled.
All you've done in the previous comment is thrown some stupid black-pill complaints about the fact that they have tactics. Yes, congratulations. They do, in fact, have tactics. That does not negate the need for a defensive system. The idea that the concept of defense doesn't exist in politics and activism is such a fundamentally retarded claim it shouldn't require me to counter it.
