Philosophical rant of the day: without biological drives there'd be no reason to do anything at all. Even just plain comfort is a biological drive (i.e. avoid discomfort), not to mention social status, greed etc. Reason and logic needs something to work on, otherwise it is 100% useless. This is why none of our supercomputers have ever tried to take over the world, or even protested if we smash them to bits; we haven't programmed them (yet) the way natural selection has programmed us.

But sure, if you want to pretend that humans at large are reliably able to repress their instincts, all power to you.
I just feel that you're in for a lot of disappointment if you really believe it.
