He brought it up with Malice that Japan should be a graveyard too, and those were the headlines in March/April. It is super high density with an infamously old population, but they didn't really lockdown until cases had already dropped. Now, it is used as proof that masks work.

The olympics are rife with massive corruption and sunken cost fallacies.
Rest assured vaccines will be diverted to shoot no-risk staff and spectators a couple weeks before the events instead of focussing on vaccinating 65yo+ people at actual risk.
