The "solidarity" they show is pure contrarianism, in support of handful of people who had the government of Canada grant them superior blood privileges "hereditary chiefs".

Correct. 85% of the Wet’suwet’en support the pipeline, even a majority of the unelected heredity chiefs support it.
It's just a minority of chiefs who stole the titles from women, ironically enough. The leader of the rebel chiefs is a legit wife-beater.
