Like, normally, the people who back Trump would be hardcore against a coup or anything like it. But with the severity of the attacks being leveled against them and Trump himself, I can see a not insignificant portion of the populace deciding that Biden's government is illegitimate, and people might actually back such a move.
I have no idea.
I know a lot of people feel like they're under siege. If it looks like someone's actually coming to help, they might sally out and when people that desperate make a move, it tends to be sudden and absolute. I'm shocked nobody died at the MAGA March this weekend, but it's only a matter of time. So long as people who support Trump keep rallying, people who oppose him are going to want them removed from society. That only ends one way.
The "Back the Blue" people just spent 6 months watching the Blue arrest people for going to the beach and sending SWAT teams to people having a beer at a bar while allowing thugs to burn down cities and beat the shit out of people wearing MAGA hats. Then when they fight back they're the ones who go to jail.
I doubt many people who witness all that walk away wanting to defend that system. And if they can no longer vote their way out of that system because elections are rigged...
