One of those articles uses the phrase "Trump's own 'Deep State'", which implicitly acknowledges the existence of another one.
In that comment thread you state your main categorical error is failing to assume your enemies are "delusionally insane". I have found I have a similar error in reasoning. We are dealing with people who would appoint a horse to the Senate not to insult or humiliate other Senators but because their notions of Social Justice, Diversity, and Equity require that a horse be able to serve as Senator. And they are willing to back those notions with brutal force against an unwilling populace if necessary.
You know they'll never acknowledge that. "Trump's own 'Deep State'" in their parlance is "Trump imagined a Deep State fighting against him. Now he's building his own, to fight for him!"
I'm honestly used to an enemy making a relatively reasonable decision. But the global elites are so inoculated from any possible consequence of their actions, that they can cause extraordinary damage without batting a fucking eye.
No one ever calls them on their bullshit, so they just tell the media to say complete nonsense. They don't even see upper middle class people, so they decide that putting 50 million people out of work is fine because it can help facilitate the large-scale economic policy changes that would give them extra money. They decide that they want extra-cash, and a stronger negotiating position with Gasprom, so they overthrow the Ukrainian government, put the world on the brink of a massive war, cause the deaths of tens of thousands of people, all so they and their friends can get a cushy corporate bribery job at Burisma. They institute even more lockdowns which generate riots and the evacuation of Paris, and they simply don't react to it at all.
This total inoculation from consequence makes their behavior pig-headed and unreasonable. The Global Elites are acting less like your typical strategy and subversion focused Fabian Socialist, and more like fucking Uday Hussein.
