How does a virus with 99.9% survival rate cause so much fear? It’s a real virus of course but the Dems/media used the hysteria to perfection. Now I do feel that Trumps personality turned some people off but I am honestly in shock how this constant reporting of cases not deaths but cases scared so many people.
They also presented it as if Trump could stop the virus by snapping his fingers.
Sorry for the rant but I hope small businesses and regular folks ignore any future lockdown mandates.
He should have jumped on COVID hysteria, and exploited it to the fullest.
They were impeaching him during an international pandemic. They were telling people to go to Chinatown three months in. They were encouraging violent, murderous riots during an international pandemic. They called his China travel ban 'xenophobic'.
And yet a great number of idiots think that it's Trump who mishandled COVID. Why, I never got answered.
Because they're just following the media signal cues. They don't need to know why something is, just as long as the media and "experts" give them the "correct info".
No matter what Trump did he would be an enemy of the media. If he leaned into the lockdowns and hysteria they would still pivot in a way to try and make him look bad. You cannot compromise with your enemy.
Then they'd have attacked him for wrecking the economy over a virus that (they would claim) is barely more deadly than the flu.
If you look at how Cuomo is popular, despite killing the elderly, it seems pretty obvious what the correct action was, politically speaking. Nightmares are powerful.
Como is "popular" because he's a Democrat, end of story
