How does a virus with 99.9% survival rate cause so much fear? It’s a real virus of course but the Dems/media used the hysteria to perfection. Now I do feel that Trumps personality turned some people off but I am honestly in shock how this constant reporting of cases not deaths but cases scared so many people.
They also presented it as if Trump could stop the virus by snapping his fingers.
Sorry for the rant but I hope small businesses and regular folks ignore any future lockdown mandates.
Then they'd have attacked him for wrecking the economy over a virus that (they would claim) is barely more deadly than the flu.
If you look at how Cuomo is popular, despite killing the elderly, it seems pretty obvious what the correct action was, politically speaking. Nightmares are powerful.
Como is "popular" because he's a Democrat, end of story
There was no correct action, no matter what you do it can be spun as a deadly mistake. The only way to win is to be popular with the media, or have control over it. Neither of which were options Trump had. He was doomed to lose from the start. That was the entire point of this political pandemic.
