Interesting how the media is really pushing the hysterical “Corona case counts are skyrocketing”. You would think we are living in a zombie apocalypse or as if this was a virus like the one in The Stand. I do feel sorry for the families of those who died but I honestly feel if a democrat was in office we would’ve barely heard about Covid. I am not an Obama fan but I never blamed him when people died of Ebola, but then again the media wasn’t hysterical about it.
I honestly feel that if Trump would’ve been full of panic then the media wouldve totally downplayed this.
I'm very much sick of it. I no longer care about the virus at all. None. I wish everything about it would just go away.
I'd have been fine taking precautions if I ever felt the government and media was being honest about it all. I was doing quite well in May and June after all the dumb lockdowns passed. I'd found a lot of ways to have fun and limit social engagement. Then everything changed to be all about whether or not you're wearing a little rectangle of cloth on your face. Wear it and do literally anything in any size group--you are doing everything you can to defend from virus. Don't wear it and go out by yourself with limited social interaction--you are a selfish person that wants us all dead.
Once I realized logic was totally dead, I just quit giving a shit about any of it.
Same.
I don't like people too close to me, the social distancing has been a boon for that (what is it about Denisovans and loving crowding? Even the Natives want to get up in your face when they talk, it's disgusting.) And I try to keep things at least reasonably clean and sanitary as a matter of simple civilized living and being hyperaware of the monkey-house smell masses of humans can generate.
But this is starting to stink of the burkha-pushers.
