The S-300s can be fired at ground targets (Russia does it routinely even as they're really poor in that role with very low accuracy) but it was a missile that missed.

21 years ago, an Ukrainian S-300 killed 78 Israelis and Russians by human error during joint Russian-Ukrainian military exercises.

And 5 years ago, a Syrian S-300 crew killed a bunch of allied Russians thinking they're Israelis.

It's an Ukrainian SAM, its entire flight was tracked by NATO from the air and by Polish radars from the ground too.

The Americans talked about it officially (Biden no less) and unoficially (media leaks) already, the official Polish statement will be in the morning (that is about now) and no doubt it will be the same version.

The General Command already made excuses why the missile couldn't be intercepted, which is because "no country has active air defense systems covering the entire territory" (and it was farmland countryside with no critical infrastructure). https://twitter.com/DGeneralneRSZ/status/1592769476801748992

Honestly they should rather point out that it fell right at the border and they would have to deliberately fire across the border (and they obviously don't have permission for that).

Biden right away said it's a not a missile from Russia. It was actually tracked by an AWACS all the way.

There were early rumors of 2 missiles but there was only 1.

It was an indeed Ukrainian SAM launched to intercept a Russian rocket and it killed 2 at a wheat storage (they were loading a truck tractor, no info were they Polish citizens).

No "town" but outside a small village (and largely ethnic Ukrainian and now also full of Ukrainians from Ukraine) and no "shells" too.

Previously lost missiles and drones from both sides also fell in Moldova and Romania, and even in Croatia (https://www.aerotime.aero/articles/30463-mystery-as-military-drone-crashes-croatia).

Faulty Russian SAM missiles also repeatedly hit Russia (Belgorod region), falling down immediately or shortly after being launched. Elsewhere, one even turned back and hit the launcher: https://twitter.com/Militarylandnet/status/1540237527793242113

During WWII, people were wounded and killed in the "Battle of Los Angeles" when the American AAA mass fired at a literal UFO and probably at nothing at all. In the air, and on the ground. During the attack on Pearl Harbor, most (or even all) of the American civilians who died were apparently killed by the American anti-aircraft fire. Great numbers of people fell victim during this war to friendly AA fire in general, also in the air of course. It's even possible British AAA killed more people trying to shoot down the V rockets than were actually killed by the rockets.

Oh, and also an Ukrainian S-300 once shot down an airliner full of Jews back in 2000 or so. They fired it a training target but it hit a passenger.

(Then of course a panicked Iranian air defense shot down an Ukrainian passenger plane full of Iranians during the Trump crisis few years ago, responding to a non-existing American attack.)

And several years ago, a Syrian S-300 killed a planeload of Russian soldiers in a troop transport that they mistaken for an Israeli F-16.

South Park is now banned in Russia, and I don't think they can go to heaven with the Bolshevik flags.

Stalin's "southern mission" that he so cherishes here involved the Soviets blowing up the Acropolis while conquering Greece.

Zhirinovsky died of Omicron after being one of the first to be injected with Russia's Sputnik "vaccine" and then taking 6 boosters after that (or so he said). All of Russian military has been injected with this either poison of placebo. (Putin didn't.)

Strelkov has just disappeared since he criticized Putin and mobilized himself, last spotted near Ukraine several weeks ago with total internet silence. RIP maybe, actually kinda liked the guy.

November 1996 issue of PC Review magazine.

Speaking of which, if someone's interested in my collection of scanned game magazines from around the world (currently 29,658 issues of 1,216 titles, with OCR, a major part of my autistic habit of collecting and cataloguing of all sorts of shit digitally) I guess I could do it because sharing is caring.

She quite literally have him all the rope to hang himself and did it all by the book so any actual lawyer couldnt find anything about it.

Looking at comments everywhere on the internet (he's got his hashtag on twitter), everyone hates him and he has no defenders/sympathisers. I haven't seen even any of these crazy women who always fall in love with all sorts of serial or mass killers.

Also many people few months ago laughed at the idea of the Iranian weapons, and great most of Afghans taken to America were absolute randoms just scooped from the Karzai Intl (or simply forced their way into the planes) among with only like 600 members of one of the NDS Zero Units who guarded the place alongside the American paratroopers (I think mostly 02 and elements of 03).

They quickly made a difference between the state terror, as in the Red Terror (their own name), which was good and directed against the enemies of the People, and the sinister anti-state terrorism and they wouldn't classify their own revolutionary activities as such in official literature because of that.

There was actually remarkably little being talked about the revolutionary era Russia, not least because the Bolsheviks have been only a minor force before their sudden coup but also because how many then fell to internal purges and power struggles so their contributions were erased just like they were being famously removed from group photos (the Death of Stalin end credits montage is a really amusing take on this practice: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Cr0BJpKMvEc).

Oh, you meant the Bolshevism. Well I don't know about Lenin personally, but a lot of Russian revolutionaries in general have been proudly calling themselves terrorists.

Anyway, after the Bolsheviks seized power, they justified the Red Terror by the threat of terrorism (it officially started after one of their leaders was assassinated).

They were also creating fake terrorist organizations to catch the mentioned real old school terrorists from rival ideologies (Operation Trust).

Later, during the show trial era, the usual charge was a participation in a secret (and non-existent) anti-Soviet terrorist organization, in addition to being a foreign (British, German, Polish, Japanese) spy.

A lot of this is reflected in the plot of 1984 where Winston is recruited (and then recruits his gf) into a fake terrorist group to fight the Party by any means.

Zelensky was elected in 2019, and "before Russia invaded" it was ruled by Yanukovych (who is still in Moscow and will never return because everyone hates him there above all lines).
