Body cam utterly destroyed the narrative around "police oppress black people". It vindicated the "racists" a thousand fold. Even the most reluctant normies were starting to see the truth on this.
Something that troubles me is the best looking most realistic looking AI videos are body cam AI videos even at this fairly early state of AI videos.
So the powers that be will inundate and flood video sites, and twitter with fake body cam footage that will suit their narratives.
Tons of fake body cam footage of white people, tons of fake body cam footage of cops being abusive towards black people.
The ace in the hole that was starting to work and people were waking up; it's discouraging that we're about to have that scene in the Running Man where they show fake footage of Arnold's character committing murder to get the audience to turn on him.
Some people say....I do things that are....not....correct to do.
I don't believe such things as this.
I am nice man with happy feelings all of the time

My parents enjoy Taylor Sheridan written shows like Landmare (I think it's called) and Yellowstone.
I have a strict rule. If it's modern, it can't be good.
Even just the acting style is not what I like and is just bad compared to 90s and earlier, so even if you had zero modern values, the feel of media sucks now.
But that aside, they were watching Landmare the other night and I heard some woman character on there mention something about pronouns.
Now I've seen some clips from these types of shows, like Landmare. He is against wokeness, so he'll have the main character mock that mindset.
Ok, that's better than a woke show, I'll grant you that.
But you know what's even better than that?
shows like Columbo or Andy Griffith Show. I love that no matter how many episodes of Columbo I watch, I will never run into the risk of hearing the word "pronoun" ever come out of the speakers.
To me, you can't make a truly non-woke show nowadays. Because it would take balls of steel to merely make an apolitical show like Columbo or Andy Griffith show (yes they may have subtle moments, there's a few feminist moments in Andy Griffith show, for instance, but it's balanced out with women looking foolish often as well in their feminist pursuits....it's a relative scale and it's barely a factor)
If you made a show that was exactly like Columbo or Andy Griffith show
you'd have
-
Almost entirely white cast
-
Women would act like how women were portrayed (and more accurately really are) in the 1960s and 70s. ie; irrational, emotional prone.
They simply would not write women the way a typical Columbo or Andy Griffith show episode would write women.
The short version aka the point of this rant is that I find an anti-woke modern show barely preferable to a woke modern show. They're both presenting you with wokeness, it's just the Taylor Sheridan ones mock wokeness.
I'd rather not see or be reminded of ANY wokeness, and not see any modern type characters, which is why any TV or movie I watch is typically from the 90s or earlier. If you were to make just an apolitical Columbo episode, you'd be blackballed from Hollywood just based on the racial demographics of the cast, background characters, etc and how women are portrayed.
There's things I don't like about Gen Z, but most of it I understand the reason behind it. The not liking rock music thing is too bizarre though. Everyone liked rock music. If you were in grade school in the 2000s, you were liking music from the 70s, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin - through the 90s.
It seemed like every generation appreciated rock.
But I've heard that Gen Z does not like rock music. I don't get it. To me that's like "not liking apple pie"; it's such an American cornerstone that it's baffling.
I think most people will agree with this statement on what bar a woman must pass in order to be loved by her husband.
Do two things.
-
Support your husband generally, aka have his back and generally encourage him rather than undermine him or tear him down
-
Respect him, show him respect as a man.
That's it. If a woman does that, 99% of men will love that woman.
It's not exactly a high bar.
Forget love, women don't even pass the bar to be LIKED by men in the modern day. How crazy is that, with a bar that low for unending, soul-mate forever love, modern women are STILL some of the most unlikable and disliked creatures to have ever walked the planet.
No I'm not impossible1, but the old him before dresdonfirebomber wasn't always wrong on everything either.
Here's how content should show up on the recommended sidebars and front page.
If you click like on something.
That's the only thing that should move the needle. If the only thing I ever clicked like on was a single vaporwave video 2 years ago, then my feed and recommended should be entirely vaporwave videos even if I've clicked on 1000 videos in the 2 years since.
If I type up to see what happened to the guy from Linus Tech Tips who trooned out, out of morbid curiosity, and click on Anthony's dead channel, just out of that desire to see a trainwreck, that doesn't mean, youtube, that I'm interested in "the study of trans-ness" or "my coming out story" from other people.
If I click on a leftist video, maybe it's because I want to laugh to myself at the absurd arguments. It doesn't make me a leftist. But if you were to click on a Vaush video out of masochistic self hatred, congratulations, now you're gonna get Destiny pop up in your feed and other woke people.
Again, Youtube, I'll TELL you what I actually like, by doing something I rarely do which is click the like button.
Every Youtube video you click carries with it an instant change to the front page and the recommended. It makes going "do I want to click this retarded crap" not worth it most of the time because you know it's going to influence whatever pops up in your home page. Clicking a video should be seen as meaningless. Only liking a video should tell Youtube, "show more of that".
Something that strikes me as really weird about the AI age that we're in is we all know we've entered it, but no one was aware when we entered it.
It was like a time jump.
Two years ago we were mocking AI videos for their crappiness, speculating that AI may or may not be all they're saying it's cracked up to be.
And now, we're in solid "AI is terrifying and I can't imagine the dystopia someone born today is going to grow up in regarding the all encompassing nature of AI"
And it's like having a black out when drunk. One minute you're in a bar. The next minute you're behind bars for public intoxication and you didn't remember anything in between.
That's how it feels with the AI thing.
Of course we always had trepidations from early on, but unlike certain ages, the age of woke, the age of covidians, the age of seeing the extent of the brainwashing, there were solid markers of "we were there, and now we're here and here's what led to that."
But with AI, I don't know if it's similar to you, but it was like a realtime mandella effect where suddenly we're in the AI age and it felt just like yesterday we were mocking the "Will Smith eats spaghetti" and there doesn't seem to be a clear moment where everyone took AI for the serious existential threat that it is....it just happened, like a black out from drinking. It's a very strange feeling.
I was scrolling through my posts and comments, particularly in this community and I was struck by how much toxic masculinity I displayed.
I'm always trying to do better. Me acknowledging that I want to do better doesn't excuse me or make it any more right that I have displayed problematic toxic traits, but I hope you can help me be an ally and teach me how to unlearn some of my blindspots when it comes to microagressions. I realize it's not your job or your burden to do this, but I felt I should offer that anyways.
Thank you.
You can read a book or listen to someone read something from the 1800s and there will be words you're not familiar with, but there's enough context that you can infer the meaning.
Scrolling through black people twitter (also gen z'ers because their slang is ebonic ghetto speak), it's constant speaking in what amounts to code.
Inference doesn't help, context doesn't help.
Heck, even looking it up doesn't really help half the time.
I've looked up the definition of "based" many times and still couldn't give you a good definition of it, which is why it's this catch all term that leftists use too. Because it doesn't mean anything.
There's always been slang in every generation that older people go "huh"
But basically an 80s teen could communicate with a an old person no problem even if the old person doesn't know what radical or tubular means.
With ebonics, it's much closer to a foreign language than mere slang.
I feel like if I encountered the term radical if twitter was around in the 80s, it would take me all of 30 seconds to infer the meaning....oh they say this whenever they see something really impressive....ok radical = impressive
But you go through black twitter and the worst inclined aspects of Gen z twitter and context and inference will not help you.
Again that's more the experience of stumbling upon Japanese twitter. You can stare at those Japanese letters all day long and you won't be able to pick up the meaning.
So yeah, when people call themselves black, and rarely ever identify as American, or have essentially a foreign identity, and speak a foreign language essentially, they're kind of like foreigners.
Now conservatives aren't leftists, because leftism and liberalsim are not the same thing.
But leftism is the icing that everyone sees on a cake, whereas liberalism is all the batter that makes up the cake. Most conservatives unknowingly accept the bread part of the cake without realizing it, but reject wokeism, not realizing they are natural extensions of each other.
To define what you must believe to not be a liberal
-
Women getting the right to vote was incredibly foolish, one of the most foolish things any society has ever done...the two sexes are very diffferent, they have different roles. Determining the fate of a nation is not one of them
-
The civil rights act of 1965 was a horrible thing
-
Thinking that white society as it behaves is better than black society as a general as they behave is not a racist thing, it's just a neutral observation
-
More things that I can't think of right now, but those are the majors.
I would say most conservatives would sort of get nervous and go "well I wouldn't go that far" or "I think women should be allowed to vote" or any number of things on those main issues.
I'd say 99% of Americans and Westerners in general are liberal.
You don't have to be a neo nazi or white nationalist to be not a liberal, but you have to at least reject white guilt completely.
