America will be sending energy to Europe, weapons as well, increasing the sales of them. That is a huge boost. The problem is getting the clueless-in-chief to restart pipelines, build new ones, and be ready to send ships to Europe. Including tons of coal to Germany.

Then there is also the fact that Russia conquering Ukraine, they will go after other countries. These last few days, they already violated the airspace of Sweden and Finland(twice. One in April, and one just yesterday). But Russia will affect the policies and making Europe more dependent on them than on America. Or even its frenemy, China.

Anything that keeps America to the top I support. Russia moving closer, and taking countries is not one of those. Heck, Ukraine discovered gas and oil in both regions where Russia is now. Russia, it seems didn't quite like that idea.

Yep. Exactly. Nothing in here is out of the ordinary. Albeit Israel did pay for it. The only thing that does fit what America is doing now in some form is the Afghanistan with the Stinger effect. Albeit the Syrian rebels got, mostly, just guns from what I recall.

I think Russia needs to understand that what they did in the past opened up the doors for others to do the same to them. In North Korea, they supplied weapons, planes and even pilots. In Vietnam, they did the same, even trained the Vietnamese army and pilots inside Vietnam itself. They also provoked and fed intel to arab countries during Arab-Israel conflicts.

What I don't like is the people saying these things publicly and open. It shouldn't be said. Only when the war ends.

Identifying oneself and having the idea that one demographic is behind all evil is just incorrect. That is akin into believing in the communist propaganda of "protocols of the elders of zyon" as being true. Which was proven to be false. What you are suggesting would mean Ben Shapiro would support the same things as Soros does.

He could do what that lancaster dude is doing. Fake news all around and in Ukraine.

Why are you confusing his identity with his desire to these things? Still no evidence. Prove that his "jewish" side has provoked him to do these things.

About the "Jewish influence". Not a single shred of evidence. George Soros sure, but he does that despite his faith or ethnicity. Since many non-Jews(overwhelming) does it too.

I am not into men, that's you. So, stop projecting, and lastly, what is wrong in being Jewish?

I mean, there has been centuries those myths were spread, and nothing, not even one droplet of truth to even prove one single thing has ever come out.

Roe v Wage came out, imagine something this big, and not even one morsel of truth to prove it.

I am quoting the article initially. Especially the part of Lithuania, which felt really off. My conclusion at the end shows I changed my mind from full fabrication to misinformation. Is that not the right thing to do when you get new information about something? Is it not natural for one to change their opinion based on new information?

Agree, he should have gone to Russia, as long as he keeps parroting the official account from the Kremlin he will be safe.

The news seems quite suspicious. I will definitely need more to believe it. As imp said, only Russian websites covered it.

Because this feels very much akin to what Russians are going through in Russia, with questioning the Kremlin narrative(leads to 10/15 years of jail and/or fine). There is no actual law in Spain that covers criticizing Ukraine. And Spain hasn't done anything with the same level of fervor as the UK. If the news used UK, France l, Germany, Poland and the other Baltic countries it would have been slightly more believable. Lithuania can not unilaterally revoke any asylum given by the EU.

Sorry but this smells like fake news. Or at the very least misinformation.

I will change my mind on this subject accordingly if more reliable evidence comes up.

EDIT: some more digging I found this website that said he did get arrested but provided no other info in regards to Lithuania, or for criticizing Ukraine.

https://imi.org.ua/en/news/shariy-detained-in-spain-i45407

According to this website he is also out on bail https://imi.org.ua/en/news/spanish-court-releases-shariy-on-bail-media-i45420

The website doesn't seem to be pro-Russia either, as they are reporting crimes Russia did against journalists. https://imi.org.ua/en/monitorings/russia-s-media-crimes-in-war-against-ukraine-to-be-updated-i44108 and https://imi.org.ua/en/monitorings/russians-have-killed-six-journalists-since-beginning-of-invasion-imi-i44470

And so far, my opinion has changed to "misinformation" from "fake news"
