Lawrence of Arabia is considered by many, including me, as possibly one of the best movies of the 20th century. but now suddenly it's racist? A movie which will undoubtedly stand the test of time for 20th century golden age greatness and grandeur; a Mozart of a movie. And these fukwads want to slap it with censorship?
Or perhaps now that the agreements and treaties and subjugations made WWI-WWII have almost completely collapsed, leaving this legacy movie of TE Lawrence a very inconvenient reminder of the screw job handed to the middle east by the European aristocracy. Not a good look for them, way too much truth.
Probably has more to do with the movie being pretty blatant on how things like honor killings and tribal rivalries are backwards and destroy any chance of self-rule.
