Lab grown meat is fine, it's meat without ever having been attached to a brain/nervous system. It's better than that fake green goo shit (if I want a meatless burger, I can make my own from lentils.) As for bugs, well, let the afreakans and asians eat those - they were whining about locusts? Well, they ought to get out those free mosquito nets and start catching them, then. I'd sooner start hunting pakis than eat a bug, though.
Lab grown meat doesn't concern me. Honestly, if it's safe to eat, price-competitive with regular meat, and doesn't taste/feel like shit, I would buy it.
As far as bugs go, gotta agree that I would unironically eat human flesh before I do that.
Well, you wouldn't have to worry about lab-grown meat catching anything; it wouldn't need, say, antibiotics because of feedlot crowding/inside intensive farming, for instance. It wouldn't be exposed to mosquitoes or fleas, or be walking in its own shit ... all that kind of stuff.
